It all depends on your needs
The staff were incredibly helpful, allowing us to roam freely in Kyoto by dropping off our bags before check-in. Additionally, the room setup was cozy, complete with thoughtful amenities.
Limited housekeeping and noise disturbances were quite noticeable, as the walls didn't provide much sound insulation. Furthermore, the breakfast options were not very inspiring, which might discourage some guests.

A hidden gem in Kyoto
The location was simply perfect, allowing easy access to local attractions and train lines. Clean rooms with daily towel replacements made our stay comfortable.
Check-in was a bit confusing, and I felt uneasy leaving my bags unattended in the lobby waiting for our room. A more organized process would improve this.

The hotel has a refreshing eco-friendly approach.
I was disappointed by the lack of housekeeping services, with only a full clean every four days. The noise at night was quite disruptive, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the limited breakfast options were a letdown, and I felt that guests were not adequately catered to, especially for young children.

had high hopes for this place but the breakfast was a complete disaster—only a sad salad! they wouldn’t even let my toddler have food! not to mention the lack of luggage assistance, waahh. and I woudl ve been thrilled with some special treatment for my troubles, but clearly, that’s asking too much.

Perfect spot for exploring!
The hotel's in such a sweet spot—quick stroll to the metro and Gion district. Room was spacious enough, and I loved having a fridge for snacks. Staff were super friendly and helped me send my suitcase to Tokyo. Only thing was the breakfast options were kinda basic. Still, I enjoyed my stay!

Ideal choice for a weekend rest in Kyoto with excellent value for money. The room was cozy and had a nice view of the city. If you're looking for convenience, explore nearby public transport options instead of relying on the hotel's limited suggestions.
