The value for money at this hotel was unbeatable, with a lovely room that had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the best shopping and food areas, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety or a menu to choose from.

I recently stayed at Omo5 Kyoto Sanjo By Hoshino Resorts and had an amazing experience. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to transit lines and a variety of food and shopping options nearby. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and towels were replaced daily. Despite the room being a bit tight for our suitcases, we were able to easily slide them under the beds. I also loved the local business map and samples provided in the lobby. it was the ideal hotel for our trip to Kyoto.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 😊

The rooms at Omo5 Kyoto Sanjo are super comfy and well-equipped. I loved how the air-conditioned rooms kept me cool during the hot Kyoto summer. The desk and kettle were really handy, and the private bathroom with a bidet was a nice touch. Plus, the flat-screen TV was perfect for some evening relaxation. I felt really at home in these rooms as a solo traveler.
Honestly, the only thing I wasn't too crazy about was the wardrobe. It was a bit small for my liking, but hey, it's just my personal preference.

The hotel had a great central location with easy access to public transportation and nearby shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was quite spacious with a comfortable bed and a desk for work. I also appreciated the added touch of amenities provided near the elevator.
The air conditioner was controlled by a central system, making it difficult to change between heating and cooling modes, which was inconvenient during the sharp temperature changes at night. the sound insulation in the room could use improvement.

Celebrated the New Year in a hotel smack dab in the middle of Kyoto's hustle and bustle, which made it super convenient for exploring the city. The room was spacious and clean, plus we were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary amenities. The best part? We were able to drop off our heavy bags before checking in, freeing ourselves for a day of adventure.
The room felt a bit cramped, but we anticipated it based on the photos online. The sound insulation could use some improvement, but we didn't hear too much noise that would have interrupted our beauty sleep.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large twin bed and a bath and shower for added relaxation. I was impressed by the amenities provided near the elevator, including personal products and pajamas. The hotel's location was unbeatable, right in the heart of the city. It was walking distance to popular sights, shopping streets, and the beautiful Kamo River. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like maps and guides, as well as the hotel's sustainability practices.
This place is highly recommended to everyone.
